Joburg Workshop on Black holes and Entanglement

27-31 March 2017

The focus of the workshop will be black holes and entanglement. This is a continuation of a very successful series of annual workshops that have taken place in South Africa since 2009.

The workshop has two parts: First there is a Ph.D. school where local postgraduate students will be exposed to advanced topics in string theory and related fields. Its aim is to provide the students with the necessary background for them to benefit from the second part of the workshop.

The second part will be a meeting bringing together local and international experts to stimulate discussions and interactions, which might lead to new research directions and collaborations.
