Joburg Workshop on String Theory
Aspects of Holography
2-7 September 2018
The Mandelstam Institute for Theoretical Physics holds high energy theory workshops several times a year. The goal of the 10th Joburg Workshop on String Theory is two-fold. Firstly, we wish to expose our local community to exciting recent developments in understanding gravitational, quantum field theoretic, and stringy systems. Secondly, we aim to stimulate discussion and interaction which might lead to new research directions and collaborations.
The pedagogical component of the Workshop is the String School for students at the University of Pretoria from 1-5 October 2018.
