The goal of this workshop is two-fold.
Firstly, we are hoping to expose our local South African post-graduate
students to exciting recent developments in understanding the degrees
of freedom in gravitational systems with emphasis on exploring the
physics of black holes and singularities. Secondly, we hope to
stimulate discussion and interaction which might lead to new research
directions and collaborations.
The first week of the workshop will cater to the students and will
give them basic skills. During the second week of the workshop we hope
to bring together experts to accomplish our second goal.
